Gov. Andy Beshear announced on Thursday that he is increasing capacity for indoor and outdoor events with fewer than 1,000 people.
Beshear said indoor and outdoor businesses serving fewer than 1,000 people may increase capacity to 75 percent at the end of the month. Currently, the capacity limitation on those businesses is 60 percent. He added that people gathering indoors “for private gatherings and for business” are no longer asked to wear a mask if everyone has been vaccinated.
Businesses serving more than 1,000 people outdoors may increase their capacity from 50 percent to 60 percent, as well.
All the capacity revisions go into effect on May 28.
