Michael Pence, age 41, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (July 1, 2021) in Leitchfield, KY.
He was born on October 28, 1979 in Grayson County, KY, the son of his late father, Kenneth Michael Pence, Sr. and his mother, Patricia (Jeffries) Hawkins. .
He was a masonry worker who enjoyed fishing, hunting mushrooms and arrowheads, riding his motorcycle and taking care of his tomato plants.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Hawkins of Leitchfield; his children, Gavin Pence and Bailey Pence of Big Clifty; and two sisters, Heather Hart of Leitchfield and Karen Newton (Dewayne) of Big Clifty.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Michael Pence, Sr. and his grandparents, Oscar and Lena Pence and Charles and Bernadine Jeffries.
Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 6, 2021) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Larry Clemons will be officiating.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday until time of services.
At his request, cremation will follow after the service.
