A Hardin County woman has been arrested after police found a veritable pharmacy of drugs during a traffic stop.
The Radcliff Police Department arrested 34-year-old Teryn E. Applegate, of Elizabethtown, during an early Monday morning traffic stop on Hwy 31-W.
The News-Enterprise reports that the arrest citation says that Applegate’s 1997 Toyota Camry would abruptly brake and then speed up, compelling police to initiate a traffic stop.
During a search of Applegate and the Camry, police located methamphetamine, heroin, hydrocodone, oxycodone, suboxone, marijuana, and clonazepam. Applegate had nearly $1,300 in cash on her at the time of the stop.
She was arrested and charged with five counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, opiates, drug unspecified), possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, and driving on a suspended/revoked license. Applegate was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
