Grayson County High School has had three golfers named to the KGCA All-5th Region team.
Landon Skees, Natalie Garrett, and Jackson Mayes were all recognized on Monday.
The 5th Region compiles golfers from the southern portion of Jefferson County, Bullitt County, and other surrounding areas.
Skees and Mayes both qualified for the KHSAA state golf championship that occurred earlier this month. Mayes’ performance allowed for him to make the cut and compete on day two of the competition.
Garrett led the way for the Lady Cougars in last month’s region golf tournament. The team finished 4th overall which was just off the mark needed to qualify as a team for the state championship.
All three golfers are underclassmen and will return to the course next season.
