The body of a missing Hart County woman has been found and her husband has been charged with her murder.
Kentucky State Police said the body of 27-year-old Erica Burden, of Bonnieville, was discovered Thursday morning in Upton at approximately 10:15. The body, according to an unconfirmed report, was found in a sink hole.
Burden was last seen alive early Tuesday morning when she dropped her daughter off at school.
Not long after Burden’s body was located, Kentucky State Police arrested her husband, 53-year-old William “Billy” Burden, of Upton. He was charged with murder (domestic violence), tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
He was lodged in the LaRue County Detention Center.
