
Renzel Willis, age 72, of Clarkson, passed away Monday February 21, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
He was born May 8, 1949, in Grayson County, to the late Oval “Bully” and Ellie Logsdon Willis. He was a retried union operator, farmer and a member of Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Katrina Kay Willis; four brothers, Elbert, Leslie, Randall and Eddie Ray Willis; three sisters, Della Fowler, Lula Belle “Bea” Hendrix and Reba May Willis.
He is survived by his wife, Shirlene Fields Willis; three sons, Josh Willis (Amanda), Jason Willis (Tomi Reed), and Timmy Willis; a daughter, Ciara Lynn Willis; six grandchildren, Cassie Willis Sandlin, Brittany Willis, Kaedance Willis, Brooklyn Jean Willis, Kody Armour and Nathan Armour; two great-grandchildren, Claire Armour and Harley Sandlin and two brothers, Jerry Willis and Oval “Junie” Willis, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, March 4, 2022, at Sulphur Wells “Snap” Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Austin Wade officiating. Burial will follow in the New Lone Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 8 PM, Thursday at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home and from 10 AM to 1 PM, Friday at the church.
