At least half a dozen fire departments are currently battling numerous fires in Wax.
The fire has impacted, and in some cases burned to the ground, multiple structures, including homes and outbuildings, in the Ponderosa Road area.
The wind has been an issue in fighting the blazes and has caused it to spread rapidly.
Only two minor injuries have been reported.
Law enforcement has asked that no one travel to this area. It is extremely dangerous and still an active scene with multiple fires.
