Police are looking for a Caneyville woman who was arrested in January with over three pounds of methamphetamine and 10 pounds of marijuana and who is now wanted for engaging in organized crime.

On January 21, 45-year-old Jean L. Wieland was arrested after a lengthy investigation by the Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force. During the execution of a search warrant at a Caneyville residence by the task force, Leitchfield Police Department and Kentucky State Police, law enforcement seized three-and-a-half pounds of methamphetamine (street value of about $5,000 per pound), 10 pounds of marijuana (street value of about $20,000), firearms, and drug paraphernalia along with other drugs, police said.

At the time of her arrest, Wieland was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She has since been charged with engaging in organized crime, possession of a controlled substance (heroin), unlawful possession of a meth precursor, and possession of a defaced firearm.

Anyone with information on Wieland’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office at 270-259-3024 or dial 911.
