A Hancock County woman has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to multiple child pornography offenses.
Shasta Maria Coiles, 40, of Lewisport, was sentenced after pleading guilty to three counts of production of child pornography, two counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of transfer of obscene material to a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky.
According to the indictment, Coiles knowingly employed, used, persuaded, enticed, induced or coerced two minors, including one juvenile under the age of 16, to produce sexually explicit content throughout March 2020.
She was arrested by the FBI in late March 2020. Coiles has been held in the Grayson County Detention Center since her arrest.
