Heather Lynn Carmine Basham, age 52, of Herscher, Illinois, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022.
She was born on April 14, 1970 in Marietta, Georgia, the daughter of Sharon Lyons Carmine and the late Charles Seth Carmine.
She was a closing agent for Kankakee Title Co. who enjoyed travelling with her husband, painting, shopping, reading and spending time with her family, particularly her two grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael “Mike” Basham of Herscher; two sons, Tyler Brueck (Caitlin) of Shelbyville, Edward “Dylan” Dennison of Leitchfield; two step-daughters, Megan Basham of Herscher and Mikaela Basham of Nashville; two grandchildren, Harper and Braxton Brueck; a sister, Michelle Tindall (Jerry) of Owensboro; a brother, Chris Carmine (Jennifer) of Leitchfield; and her mother, Sharon Carmine, of Leitchfield. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (June 26, 2022) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Seth Basham will be officiating. Burial will be in Leitchfield Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
