Mary Alice Jacobs Fulkerson, age 92, of Clarkson, passed away, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at her residence.
She was born August 1, 1930, in Louisville, to the late, Broadus “B.E.” and Mary Delsie Carnes Jacobs. She accepted Christ at the age of 10 and was a faithful believer all of her life and was a member of Clarkson Baptist Church. She worked as the secretary at Clarkson Elementary for many years and was a well known figure to many children there. In her later years, she loved reading, sitting on her porch looking at her flowers and visiting with her great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Fulkerson; her son, Calvin Ray Fulkerson and two brothers, David and Kenneth Jacobs.
Mary Alice is survived by her children, Ron Fulkerson (Sharon), Susan Webb (Scotty), Debbie Carman (Ova) and Gary Wayne Fulkerson (Tracey); a daughter-in-law, Cindy Fulkerson; a brother, Manford Jacobs; twelve grandchildren, Jonathan Webb (Jana), Morgan Johnston, Rachel Carman Shepherd (Travis), Hannah Carman, Zachary Carman (Krysten), Stewart Fulkerson (Missy), Jake Fulkerson (Julia), Erin Hall (Derek), Kelsey Tereshko (Justin), Shelby Collins (Grant), Seth Elmore, and Sophia Elmore and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. Art Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM, Saturday and after 9 AM, Sunday at the funeral home.
