Pearl Jean Haynes, 78, of Brownsville passed away Oct. 22, 2022 in Leitchfield.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and a former employee of Plastikon. She was a daughter of the late Dewey Childress and Ola Glass Childress and the wife of the late Robert Haynes. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Avery and a brother, Tony Childress.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cherry Springs Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Wednesday.
Surviving are a son, Robert Haynes (Chelsea) of Brownsville; two brothers, Merle Childress (Helen) and Joby Childress both of Louisville; a sister, Magaline Meredith (Junior) of Cave City; a granddaughter, Emma Haynes; and several nieces and nephews, including Erin Bagshaw Milton.
