Five Grayson County High School musicians have been selected for All State Orchestra honors.
“This very prestigious honor is the result of hours of hard work and years of classroom and private instruction,” Grayson County Schools said.
The five musicians will now work with and perform with the best high school musicians from around Ketnucky at the Kentucky Music Educators Association’s All State event in Louisville in February 2023.
The GCHS musicians picked as All State are — Bethany Ray, Symphony Orchestra 2nd Violins: Michell Lynch, Symphony Orchestra 1st Violins: Dawson Gorby, Symphony Orchestra Cello; Reece Horn, Bass 2nd Alternate: and Austin Walker, Symphony Orchestra Bass.
