
A Glasgow man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a Scottsville man.
On Friday evening at approximately 6:50, the Glasgow Police Department responded to 1414 North Race Street after a man, Roger L. Noland, of Scottsville, was shot.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers located the shooting suspect, 46-year-old James Edward Campbell.
Police said Campbell and Noland had been in a verbal dispute when Campbell shot Noland.
Noland was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Campbell was arrested and charged with murder and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
The case remains under investigation.
