Bobby Joe “Bob” Harris, age 69, of Cecilia, KY, passed away Sunday, (April 16, 2023) at 5:00 a.m. at his home with his loving wife of 28 years, Marilyn Kiper, and his family by his side. He was born on October 8, 1953 in Marion County, KY, the son of his late father, Chester Harris, and his mother, Lorene Coyle Harris.
Bob retired from Culligan working as a water technician. He also loved playing his music and games to pass the time away. He enjoyed riding in his “79” Camaro car. He graduated from Elizabethtown High School and attended technical school.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Kiper of Cecilia; mother, Lorene Harris, and a sister, Marcy (Harris) Pullen both from Elizabethtown; four step-children, Eric Kiper (Lynn), Christy Gilbert, Heather Hack, and Rennatta White; and ten
grandchildren.
Bob is preceded in death by his father, Chester Harris and his maternal grandparents, Mama Coyle and Pops.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday (April 29, 2023) at 12:00 p.m. noon EST at the Missionary Baptist Church of Cecilia.
