The city of Clarkson has sworn-in a new police chief.
Former Caneyville Police Chief Anthony Clark was recently sworn-in by Mayor Bonnie Henderson as Clarkson’s new police chief.
Clark, who has more than three decades of law enforcement experience with the Caneyville Police Department, takes over for Buck Meredith, who resigned the position last week after serving eight years as chief.
“Anthony has 30-plus years experience in law enforcement, and I look forward to working with him,” Henderson said.
The new Clarkson chief resigned as Caneyville police chief on July 31, 2021.
Clark has served as a part time officer in Clarkson for the last several months.
