Two Hardin County residents have perished in a two-vehicle crash.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the accident in the 3600 block of Shepherdsville Road (Hwy 251) Monday evening at approximately 6:05.
The preliminary investigation revealed 27-year-old Hunter D. Bailey, of Elizabethtown, was traveling north on Shepherdsville Road in a 2005 Toyota Corolla when he crossed the center line and struck a 2004 Ford Ranger, being driven south by 54-year-old Lisa Pearman, of Elizabethtown.
Bailey was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hardin County Coroner’s Office.
Pearman was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing and being led by KSP accident reconstructionist, Trooper Kevin Dreisbach.
