Thomas E. Burden Jr., age 67, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (September 21, 2023) at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on January 8, 1956 in Short Creek, KY, the son of the late Thomas Edgar and Ruby Green Burden.
He was a truck driver who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Bethel Church.
He is survived by his son, Michael Burden (Anna) of Bowling Green, KY; a step-son, Christopher T. Basham of Greensburg, KY; a grandson, Conner Burden; a step-grandchild; two step great-grandchildren; a sister, Brenda Johnson of Louisville, KY. His “Loving Lady” and partner for many years, Imogene Burden of Leitchfield, and his nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Burden.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, (September 28, 2023) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Joey Decker will be officiating. Burial will be in the Deweese Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time of services.
