Police are investigating after a body was found floating near a dock at Lake Cumberland.
The decomposed body of a male was located Saturday morning at approximately 8:40 “floating in the lake near a slip at Grider Hill Dock,” the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office requested Kentucky Fish & Wildlife officials assist with the investigation.
The body was transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy and identification.
The Clinton County Coroner’s Office is assisting the two law enforcement agencies in the death investigation.
