A man riding a scooter has been struck and killed in Hardin County.
Aaron A. Flippo, 38, of Radcliff, died when he was struck by a tractor trailer while riding on a scooter.
The accident occurred Tuesday morning at approximately 6:30 when Flippo was riding north in the emergency lane of the Joe Prather Highway, according to a report by The News-Enterprise. At some point, the scooter entered the travel portion of the roadway and was hit by a northbound semi, being driven by Leroy E. Holly.
Holly was not injured.
The investigation is being led by the Radcliff PD Collision Investigation Team.
