Two people have died in a head-on collision in Daviess County.
The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were dispatched to the crash Wednesday morning at approximately 7:25 in the 2100 block of the Wendell Ford Expressway. Police said the investigation showed that a westbound passenger car crossed the median and struck an eastbound pickup truck head-on.
Both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene. No other people were in the vehicles.
“The identities of those involved in the collision will be released by the Daviess County Coroner’s Office at a later time,” the sheriff’s office said.
