
A man has been found guilty of killing an Ohio County man.
Aaron McQuady, 35, of Sebree, was found guilty of shooting and killing Matthew Wallace, of Rockport, and shooting Wallace’s brother, Christopher Wallace, of Rockport, on March 5, 2022.
McQuady was located at his residence by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office the day after the shooting and arrested.
The trial began on Monday in an Ohio County courtroom and ended Thursday. At approximately 8:45 Thursday evening, according to WFIE.com, the jury returned a guilty verdict for intentional murder, first-degree assault, four counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, four counts of second-degree wanton endangerment, two counts of menacing, and three counts of tampering with physical evidence.
Following the guilty verdict, victim impact statements were given. Sentencing could come sometime Friday.
