Police in Bowling Green are conducting a death investigation at a fraternity house on the WKU campus.
According to WKU Herald Editor-in-Chief Alexandria Anderson, several law enforcement cruisers, EMS and a coroner’s vehicle were seen outside the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house Wednesday afternoon at approximately 12:30. There was also caution tape around the residence and driveway.
The fraternity house is at 1504 West Chestnut Street, on the west side of the WKU campus near the Hardin Planetarium.
WKU Media Relations Director Jace Lux told WBKO: “We have been made aware of a student death that occurred in an off-campus fraternity house. Police continue to investigate, but no foul play is suspected at this time.”
The WKU Police Department told media outlets that more information on the investigation will be released on Thursday.
