Upton woman killed after vehicle crosses center line in Hardin Co.

An Upton woman has been killed after crossing the center line in Hardin County.

Hardin County deputies responded Tuesday morning at approximately 7:30 to the accident in the 1600 block of North Pleasant Hill Road, according to a report by The News Enterprise. Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered that a Ford Focus, being driven west by Destiny McClawley, of Upton, crossed the center line and struck a Kia Soul, being driven east by Taylor Riggs, also of Upton.

McClawley was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Two children in McClawley’s vehicle, and Riggs, were transported to Baptist Health Hardin with non-life threatening injuries.
