A Leitchfield man on parole following his conviction on two felony charges has been arrested after absconding from parole and having methamphetamine in his possession.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Adam Duggins on Monday night at a residence on Delmer Drive.
Police went to the home to arrest Duggins for absconding parole supervision, failure to report a change in home address to his parole officer and failure to report to his parole officer as directed, according to court documents.
Additionally, Duggins was served with an arrest warrant accusing him of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The warrant states the offenses occurred on April 4, 2024.
When deputies arrived at the Delmer Drive home on Monday to arrest Duggins for absconding and the drug offense on April 4, police located “a black pistol case” containing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, adding charges against the suspect.
He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
Involved in the investigations and/or the execution of the arrest warrants were Grayson Co. Sgts. Erik Franklin and Jordan Jones along with Deputies Sean Fentress, Caleb Owens, Andy Cast, and Thomas Lane. The Greater Hardin County Narcotics Task Force and Constable Mark Stanton also participated in the execution of the search warrant.
Duggins was convicted in Grayson County in July 2022 for first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree criminal mischief, both class D felonies.
