New BOIL WATER ADVISORY issued for several Leitchfield streets. BWA issued Saturday afternoon has been lifted

A BOIL WATER ADVISORY (BWA) issued on Saturday for a section of Leitchfield has been lifted while another BWA has been issued.

The BWA issued Saturday afternoon at approximately 1:00, and included sections of Brandenburg Road, Roberts Court, Mulberry Street, and North English Street along will all of Cherry Street, has been lifted.

A new BWA has been issued by Leitchfield Utilities for Leavette Avenue, Short Street, Junction Street, Beville Drive, Kane Avenue, Wilson Drive, O’Riley Street, Cubbage Street, Mehr Avenue, and Decker Lane.

Water customers on those roadways are recommended to boil water at a rolling boil for at least three minutes before using in cooking or drinking.
