
Two people were airlifted following a devastating residential fire in Fordsville.
The fire occurred on Sunday and was initially reported as a “medical assistance call,” according to the Fordsville Fire Department, but while first responders were en route, the call was updated to a structure fire.
The Fordsville, Dundee and Whitesville Fire Departments responded to the blaze but the home was a total loss.
Two occupants were airlifted with “burns,” the Fordsville Fire Department said.
No other information was released.
