An Ohio County man has been arrested for allegedly committing illegal sex acts with a juvenile.
The Greenville Police Department said 60-year-old Thomas Woods, of Beaver Dam, contacted a juvenile via the internet and drove to the juvenile’s Greenville home during the early morning hours of Saturday where he, based on his charges, committed sex acts with the minor.
He was arrested at his Beaver Dam home Saturday evening at approximately 7:00, Greenville police said.
Woods was charged with second-degree sodomy, first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor (illegal sex act, victim under the age of 16), use of a minor in a sexual performance (victim under the age of 16), procuring use of a minor by electronic means, and distribution of obscene matter to minors.
He was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
The Muhlenberg and Ohio County Sheriff’s Offices assisted in the investigation.
