Human remains have been found in Brandenburg.
The Brandenburg Police Department told media outlets that officers responded to a report of skeletal remains on Saturday afternoon at approximately 4:20 in the 1300 block of Old State Road, less than a mile south of Meade Co. High School.
The remains were found in a field near a residence.
The remains were transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville.
The investigation is ongoing.
