An Edmonson County woman has died in a two-vehicle accident in Brownsville.
The crash occurred Friday evening at approximately 7:30 in the 300 block of South Main Street when a vehicle being driven by 45-year-old Kristopher McCombs, of Segal, crossed the center line and into the path of 67-year-old Sheila VanMeter, of Brownsville, according to a report by WNKY.com.
VanMeter was transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green where she was later pronounced deceased. McCombs was uninjured.
