A man has been jailed after shooting several rounds into an occupied home in Hardin County.

The Radcliff Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on the afternoon of May 1 at Smoke Buddy Smoke Shop at 156 Rogersville Road, according to a report by The News-Enterprise.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers watched video footage of the incident where the suspect, 21-year-old Jason A. Brownlee, of Bowling Green, could be seen arguing with someone outside the business.

During the argument, Brownlee brandished a firearm and fired at the man he had been arguing with. The shots missed the intended target and struck an occupied residence on South Wilson Road, the Elizabethtown newspaper reports.

Brownlee fled the scene but was arrested last week.

He was charged with attempted murder and multiple counts of felony wanton endangerment. Brownlee is lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond.
