An Edmonson County woman has died in a two-vehicle accident.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the crash Monday night at approximately 7:00 in the 3900 block of Nolin Dam Road (Hwy 728), about six miles east of Bee Spring.
The investigation indicated that a 2001 Mercedes-Benz, being driven by 55-year-old Laura McCain, of Lindseyville, was traveling east on Nolin Dam Road when, as McCain attempted to make a left turn into a gravel parking lot, she entered the path of a westbound 2015 Jeep Wrangler, being driven by 35-year-old Raymond Jaggers, of Mammoth Cave.
McCain was transported to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center where she was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Trooper Grant Robertson.
