Laura Denise McCain, 64, of Lindseyville passed away June 23, 2025 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker and attended Poplar Springs United Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Richard Lee McCrady and Francis Marie Skaggs McCrady and the wife of the late Willis Dale “Luke” McCain. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve McCrady and Clyde McCrady.
Laura left a lasting impression on all who met her. She enjoyed the outdoors, loved to thrift shop and spent many warm days at the waterpark.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Friday.
Surviving are two daughters, Bianca Botts (Nick) of Park City and Christy Jennings-Taylor (Luke) of Evansville, IN; a son, Samuel McCain (Heidi) of Owensboro; four brothers, Darrell McCrady (Pam) of Phoenix, AZ, Tony McCrady (Barbara) of Munfordville, Aryon McCrady of Bowling Green and Rickey Brooks of Brownsville; two sisters, Teresa Coleman (Mark) of Bowling Green and Marlessa Hammond (David) of Chalybeate; four grandchildren, Douglas Sanders, Lexi Sanders, Harper Botts and Lucian Billa, who is expected any day; a very special friend to a very special Sissy, Lorrie Skaggs; and many friends and extended family.
