Add railroad crossing maintenance to the list of road-related projects taking place in Leitchfield and Grayson County.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 4 Public Information Officer Chris Jessie said the railroad crossing on North Main St. in Leitchfield will be closed on Monday.
Jessie said P&L Railroad “advised that crossing maintenance along KY 259 on the north end of Leitchfield will take place Monday.”
The crossing will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“Adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances could change their anticipated work date,” Jessie added.
In Leitchfield, Scotty’s Contracting & Stone crews are making quick progress repaving North Main St., around the Town Square and down South Main St. to the intersection with the William Thomason Byway. That project began on Monday of last week.
