Sharon Loraine Willis Kerr, age 75, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (June 22, 2025) at Grayson Nursing and Rehab in Leitchfield.
She was born on January 20, 1950 in Edmonson County, KY, the daughter of the late R. D. and Lavelle Woosley Willis.
She retired from Walmart and enjoyed farming, sewing, reading and talking with friends. She was a dedicated member of the West Main Church of Christ in Leitchfield and loved spending time with her church family.
She is survived by one brother, Ronald Dee Willis, four sisters, Norma Fay Embry, Kathleen Taylor (Terry), Christine Embry and Stella Mae Cowles (Darrell), a step-sister, Anita Wilson, a brother-in-law, John Kerr (Wanda) and a sister-in-law, Diane Blanton, three nephews, Ronald and Adam Willis and Joshua Taylor (Kristy). Also several great nephews and nieces, Logan, Sky Ann, and Destiny Willis, Raven Kenner, Cayden and Kinsley Taylor “Jelly Bean”, Keesha and Jazmin Pedigo and great-great nephew, Payten Willis.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” Clinton Kerr and sister-in-law, Nancy Willis.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (June 27, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Chris Richardson will be officiating. Burial will be in the Scott Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
