A pedestrian has been killed in Barren County.
Kentucky State Polie said the incident occurred Saturday night at approximately 11:00 on Burkesville Road (Hwy 90) near Green Valley Road, about a half mile southeast of Glasgow.
The state police investigation revealed that an eastbound 2017 Dodge was traveling on Burkesville Roaad when the vehicle struck 59-year-old Ricky Parsons, of Glasgow, “who was standing in the middle of the roadway.”
He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Barren County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by KSP Det. Bo Hubbard.
KSP was assisted at the scene by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office.
