Kentucky State Police has entered the 2025 Best Looking Cruiser Contest.
The contest, sponsored by the American Association of State Troopers, asks the public to vote for their favorite cruiser photo, with the winning image earning the cover of the association’s 2026 calendar.
KSP has placed in the top five over the past seven years, taking home back-to-back wins in 2021 and 2022. KSP also won the contest in 2018. Florida has won the competition for two straight years.
“This year’s KSP submission captures more than just horsepower; it captures air power,” state police said.
The photo features a 2024 Mustang GT cruiser, a 2024 Dodge Durango pursuit vehicle, alongside a Bell 407 helicopter from the agency’s Aircraft Support Branch.
“The photo,” state police said, “symbolizes the teamwork and tactical support that keep Kentucky safe from ground to sky.”
To win the competition, KSP needs the help of the 4.5 million Kentuckians who call the commonwealth home. Voting has begun and ends on Friday, July 11, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
Kentuckians can vote once daily by clicking here.
Throughout the contest, KSP said it will spotlight the cruiser and helicopter featured in the photo, showcase behind-the-scenes video from the photoshoot, and share exclusive content on the agency’s social media pages. Follow the agency on Facebook, Instagram, and X for campaign updates, videos and contest standings.
