Anthony Quinn Clark, age 60, of Caneyville, KY, passed away Saturday, (June 28, 2025) at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. He was born on July 7, 1964 in Leitchfield, KY, the son of the late James and Phillis Hillard Clark.
He worked as a public servant for many years. He was Police Chief for Caneyville for 30 years; served on the Caneyville Fire Department since 1981, serving as Caneyville Fire Department Chief for over 30 years. He was on the Clarkson Police Department for 3 years until his health declined.
He enjoyed collecting Match Box cars, scale 164, especially emergency vehicles. He also collected emergency light bars for vehicles. He loved traveling to the Smokie Mountains.
Anthony married the love of his life, Georganne Tidwell Clark on June 18, 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Georganne Clark of Caneyville; his children, Ashlyn, Dana, Mattie, Kevin, Phoebe, and Riley Clark; two grandchildren, Paris Cubbage and Braxton Smallwood; siblings, Brian, Collin, and Paula; several nieces and nephews; and a “special brother,” Marion Mudd.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Megan Clark, and grandson, JoJo Davidson.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, (July 8, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. David Brown will be officiating. Burial will be in the Deweese Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
