
Harold G. Metcalf, 75, of Clarkson KY, passed away Monday, (July 7, 2025) at his residence. He was born on March 7, 1950, in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Clayton and Pearl Biringer Metcalf.
He worked as a quality engineer for the automotive industry. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting deer, turkey, and elk. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of American Legion Post 81, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving his country during Vietnam Conflict.
He married his wife Marsha Haycraft on August 7, 1995.
He is survived by his wife, Marsha Haycraft Metcalf; a son Tairrel Haycraft (Lisa); a daughter Falon Hook (Michael); five grandchildren, Andrea, Ethan, Eli, Ella, and Meadow; a sister, Carol Robbins of Centerville, OH.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew Greg Robbins.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (July 11, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Chris Cann will be officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery in Clarkson with military honors.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Friday until time of services.
