A man has died in a two-vehicle accident in Hardin County.
Elizabethtown Police Department Public Information Officer John Thomas said the crash happened on Friday just after noon at the intersection of Patriot Parkway and Timber Lane in Elizabethtown.
The investigation, Thomas said, showed that a Nissan Rogue, being driven by an adult female, was attempting to make a left turn from Timber Lane onto northbound Patriot Parkway when the Rogue crossed into the path of a southbound Nissan Sentra, being driven by an adult female. As a result, the Sentra hit the driver’s side of the Rogue.
A male passenger in the Rogue was transported to Baptist Health Hardin (BHH) where he was pronounced deceased. The drivers of both vehicles were also transported to BHH with minor injuries.
The Elizabethtown Police Dept. Accident Reconstruction Team is leading the accident investigation.
