An accused impaired driver has crashed into the roundabout at the intersection of Elizabethtown Road and the William Thomason Byway.
Leitchfield Police Department Sgt. Chuck Hoover and Officer Brian Jennings responded to the wreck Friday night at about 11:15.
Upon arriving the scene, police found a westbound Chevrolet Malibu had struck a concrete divider on Elizabethtown Road. While attempting to exit the divider, the Chevrolet became stuck.
The driver, 40-year-old Darrell D. Sturgeon, of Cave City, was determined by police to be impaired.
He was arrested and charged with DUI and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
