
Kenneth Ray Kiper, 81, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Sunday, (July 13, 2025) at Springview Health and Rehab, in Leitchfield, KY. He was born on April 15, 1944 in Short Creek, KY, the son of the late
Raymond and Ollie Mae Wheatley Kiper.
He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict, who enjoyed playing Bingo, going to yard sales, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also collected baseball cards and set up at the local flea market to trade and sell.
He is survived by his son, Kenny Kiper Jr. (Courtney), two daughters, Tina Burnett, and Jessica Kiper Hoskins; grandchildren, Chloe, Kenley, Jacob, Christina, Haley, Jeremy, Glory, and Peyton; four great-grandchildren; and a sister Mary Kiper.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dena Fay Willoughby Kiper; brothers, J.T. Kiper, Wilbur Kiper, and Robert Kiper; sisters, Hazel Liddell, and Mildred Yates.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, (July 17th, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Duff Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of services.
