A Grayson County man has been arrested for violating his parole.
Kentucky State Police arrested Thomas Leon Roof, 52, of Big Clifty, on Monday after the suspect committed a probation violation for a felony offense, according to the arrest citation.
Roof was convicted in Grayson County in January 2023 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to three years in prison but served only a fraction of the sentence, according to the Kentucky Department of Corrections.
He is on probation until February 2026.
Roof is being held in the Grayson County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
