A body found near a western Kentucky elementary school has been identified.
As K105 reported on Thursday, Kentucky State Police said detectives responded Thursday afternoon at approximately 1:00 to North Livingston Elementary School in Livingston County after a deceased male was found “in a grassy area” near the school.
The decedent, state police said on Thursday, was not a school employee or student. He has now been identified as 30-year-old Ethan Schriner, of Calvert City (Marshall Co.).
Results of an autopsy are pending, state police said, as the investigation is ongoing.
No other information was released.
