Grayson County High School is transitioning to online ticket sales for its sports programs held on campus.

The school is joining most of the surrounding counties by making this move.

For those wanting to attend a game, tickets will only be available through the GoFan website or via their smartphone apps. There will no longer be an option to pay cash at the gate.

“Tickets will be available through links and QR codes that will be provided by teams prior to the games,” the school said in a release. “For GCHS home games, the QR code links will (also) be provided at the door.”

There will also be an opportunity to purchase season passes for those who attend multiple events per year. Those will be available on the same website.

As an added benefit of the change, all Grayson County students in grades K–12 will now be admitted to home games for free.

The first home regular season event of the year is set for August 19 as the volleyball team takes on Hancock County.

The football team will then host Anderson County in their home opener on August 29.
