
Two Grayson County Schools buses were involved in a minor accident on Thursday afternoon.
The Leitchfield Police and Fire Departments and EMS responded to the accident Thursday afternoon at 12:45 in the 800 block of West White Oak Street (Hwy 62).
The buses were taking approximately 80 high school technology students to Byrd Tool Corp. on Johnson Street in Leitchfield for class when one of the buses experienced a braking issue and crashed into the rear of the other bus, according to Leitchfield police.
One student was transported to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center after suffering a busted lip, according to the school district.
No other injuries were reported.
The students were being transported to Byrd Tool Corp. due to major renovation work underway at the Grayson Co. Technology Center.
