
A Butler County man has been busted with over an ounce of methamphetamine, Xanax and marijuana.
Benjamin L. Embry, 32, of Morgantown, was arrested by the Bowling Green Police Department on Saturday morning following a traffic stop, according to a report by WNKY.com.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Embry for not wearing a seat belt near the intersection of Rochester Street and Madison Street. Upon making contact with Embry, officers learned he had 11 active arrest warrants.
During a search, police found 31.8 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana and 60 grams of Xanax, WNKY.com reports.
Embry was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail where he’s been charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine, his second such offense; and drug unspecified), prescription controlled substance not in its proper container, giving an officer a false name, trafficking in marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to wear a seat belt.
He was also served with 10 warrants.; one with a $25,000 bond, five with $12,500 bonds, two $1,000 bonds, and two $250 bonds.
