An elderly man has died after his tractor ran over him.
Garland A. Davis, 80, of Liberty, died on Wednesday evening at approximately 5:30 when Davis was operating a tractor at his residence on Green Valley Road, about eight miles southwest of Liberty.
The Casey County Coroner’s Office told WKYT.com that Davis suffered a medical emergency, causing him to fall off the tractor. The tractor ran over Davis and struck the back porch of his home.
Davis was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Davis’ obituary states: “He was a barber for more than 20 years, a school bus driver for Casey County Schools for 10 years, and the owner of Double ‘N’ Jewelry.”
