A motorcyclist was shot at on the Western Kentucky Parkway near Clarkson.
Grayson County Deputy Hunter Miller, Leitchfield Police Department Officer Wally Ritter and EMS responded to the incident Tuesday night at approximately 6:55 at the 113-mile marker of the eastbound parkway.
When the first responders were initially dispatched, Miller searched the parkway for the suspect’s vehicle, originally thought to be a dark-colored, older model Ford Bronco. The description, though, was later changed to a dark-colored, older model Ford SUV.
Upon arriving at the scene, the victim, who was not injured, told police someone from the vehicle shot at him and then ran him off the roadway. A witness to the incident also spoke to officers.
UPDATE: In a press release, Sheriff Norman Chaffins says that the alleged shooter is approximately six feet tall with an average build. He was wearing a red flannel shirt and blue jeans and has shoulder-length hair.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 270-259-3024.
