Jerry Lee Webb, age 71, of Big Clifty, KY, passed away Tuesday, (September 30, 2025) at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. He was born on October 20, 1953 in Big Clifty, KY, the son of the late Jack and Anna McDowell Webb.

Jerry was a simple man who lived a simple life with a good heart. He began most mornings at Farmer’s Feedmill Restaurant, enjoying breakfast and the company of friends. At 18 Years old, he was saved at Broadway Missionary Baptist Church. He faithfully attended New Freedom and never missed a service. His love of the Lord and his church was deep.

Jerry proudly served in the United States Army Reserve for 20 years, retiring with the rank of Sergeant. He also worked as a truck driver for Foster’s/Ameri Gas for three decades.

In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed mowing yards, visiting with family, and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He especially loved being “Papaw” to his grandchildren, who he was deeply proud of. Jerry will be remembered for his giving spirit, strong faith and the love he shared with his family.

He is survived by his son, Aaron Webb (Angel) of Leitchfield; daughter, Megan Beatty of Big Clifty; son-in-law, Brad Beatty of Big Clifty; seven grandchildren, Jack, Rylee, Noah, Ben, and Silas Webb and Molly and Lucas Beatty; sisters, Janice Horn, Joyce Thompson and Judy Webb (Bryon) all of Big Clifty; sister-in-laws, Oveda Herbert (Jack), Dessie Willis, Thelma Saltsman, and Darlene Haycraft (Ralph); and a very special brother-in-law, Ray Heavrin (Brandy). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Joyce Webb and a brother, Jack William “Bill” Webb.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, (October 10, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Mickey Coates and Bro. Aaron Webb will be officiating. Burial will be in the Little Flock Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
